We love ethical clothing and even the fancy dress at the Natural Nursery is fairly traded!

This colorful fiery red dragon costume has some great features to make any little monster look amazing. The hooded cape has a brilliant tail, spine and green wings, it’s tummy is shiny scales to give this great outfit even more character.
The plush head has white soft pointy teeth and big eyes, the velcro fastening front makes it easy to put on and take off.

This outfit is available in two sizes 18 months – 3 years and 4-8 years.

Valerie ordered this for her little nephew for Christmas so he hasn’t got it yet but she loves it! She said:

“Good quality & worth the money. Can’t wait to see him in it.”

The range of dressing up costumes include fairies, ladybirds, chicks, pirates and more. In sizes from 3 months to 11 years depending on the design.

Free Holiday Fun – The Big Family Challenge

There is something for all the family, crafty challenges such as making sock bunnies or cards, relaxing challenges like looking at clouds, plenty of healthy eating challenges including one that has a recipe for healthy icecream! Seeing who can stay still the longest and listening to free Relax Kids meditations, outdoor challenges, rainy day challenges, ones that take a day or 21 days. There are also prizes to win, including a yoga holiday to Italy!

Indoor rainy fun

Summer! It has been raining solidly all day and we are bored bored bored!

So here is the recipe for a fantastic fun indoor picnic.

Ingredients:

a tablecloth or sheet
old newspaper and magazines
picnic food – sandwiches and lashings of ginger beer
at least one small child

How we did it

Spread out the cloth in your desired picnic area
Set the scene with newspaper trees
Move some house plants nearer the cloth
Cut out large daisies from magazines and scatter on the floor near the cloth
Spread out your picnic feast
Invite a few teddies and sing the teddy bears picnic song
